Make breakfast. Care for a shared space. Notice when someone could use a hand. These everyday things are how we build SaaiJai.

If you want to live closer to nature and contribute to a community, we would love to hear from you. We welcome applications for a live-in work exchange for prospective staff and interns who can stay at least 20 days per month.

Make the most of what we share.

SaaiJai is an off-grid village surrounded by lake and forest. Water and electricity are limited. Living here means using them thoughtfully, sharing what we have and finding practical ways to make things work.

Some days do not go to plan. We are looking for people who can talk things through, notice what needs doing and contribute with care and a positive attitude.

Preparing meals, tidying shared spaces and welcoming visitors all help keep the village going. Much of the work is simple, everyday care — and it matters.

Cooking, making things, photography, storytelling or bringing people together: tell us what you enjoy and what you would like to try. Tasks, hours and time off will be discussed together before your stay.
